Celine brings a wealth of experience on large, complex projects to PLANT. During her five years of working in her native Lebanon with Planbee Architecture, she served in senior-level design and project management roles on projects ranging from the DP World Pavilion for Expo 2020 in Dubai (Design Architect: Yaghmour Architects) to the Assoufid hospitality/residential complex in Morocco (Design Architect: SSH), which contains a St. Regis Hotel and private villas. For seven months in 2019, Celine was a site-based architectural technologist on the new U.S. Embassy in Beirut (Design Architect: Morphosis). Through her strong interests in interior design and hospitality architecture, she has gained extensive experience in selecting materials and finishes and designing millwork and other custom fit-out elements. Her adaptive reuse experience includes BIM modelling and design development for Hegra Heritage Boutique Hotel, a project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Hegra World Heritage property. While with Planbee, Celine project managed the document production of five restaurants and designed one of them: Over Under (KSA – Via Riyadh), which functions as a coffee haven by day and a sophisticated mocktail bar at night. She also served as project architect on the restaurant Berro’s (New Cairo City, Egypt) from concept design through to fit-out. Celine’s PLANT projects include several Toronto Community Housing renovations and chapel renovations at St. Augustine’s Seminary.
