This development of a new streetscape and forecourt for a 1970s office building creates a framework and long-term vision for this stretch of Eglinton, working with the Midtown In Focus Vision for Eglinton Avenue. Located in Midtown Yonge, near the thriving intersection of Yonge and Eglinton Streets, the Eglinton Avenue forecourt encompasses local shops, restaurants, and businesses.

A key objective is to accommodate, frame, and celebrate a new public art program for the site. The plaza incorporates intimate seating areas for passers-by among new plantings to promote a strong outdoor social life for the street. Our involvement has also included creating standards for restaurant signage and patios in order to present a unified aesthetic for the forecourt, and interior renovations to highlight the interior art program.
