Pottery Road Crossing

The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, Canadian Institute of Planners, and Canadian Society of Landscape Architects have announced the winners of the 2014 National Urban Design Awards. PLANT Architect’s Pottery Bicycle and Pedestrian Crossing earned a Certificate of Merit in the Urban Fragments category. Part of a larger project to provide interpretation, accessibility, and environmental control for the Lower Don Recreational Trail, the project improves the safety of pedestrians and cyclists and choreographs a new experience of the Lower Don landscape.
