PLANT Wins Two Architizer A+ Awards Special Mentions

We are excited to announce that both of PLANT Architect Inc. ’s entries to the international 2015 Architizer A+ Awards received recognition. Lenticular Curtain ,an installation created for the Breathtaking: Constructed Landscapes exhibition at Harbourfront in Toronto, earned a Special Mention in the Architecture + Art ‘Plus’ tags. Channelled Buried Moved Lost , commissioned by Cambridge Galleries for the Common Ground indoor/outdoor exhibition in Cambridge, Ontario, received a Special Mention in the Religious Buildings & Memorials ‘Typology’ tags. This installation reconnected the city of Cambridge with Mill Creek by taking people on a 10-point scavenger hunt through the downtown for the once-important but now rerouted and largely invisible waterway. The A+ Awards recognize architectural excellence from around the globe, and this year’s jurors included the MoMA’s Paola Antonelli and BIG’s Bjarke Ingels .
