PLANT Architect chosen to redesign Kew Gardens

PLANT Architect has been chosen to redesign the north edge of Kew Gardens in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Beach neighbourhood. We are thrilled to be working with the Beach BIA and local community on this exciting project.

The new design will transform the park and streetscape along the north edge of Kew Gardens into a space that promotes year-round public use, improves pedestrian safety, strengthens view corridors, ensures flexible programming for community events, and evokes and enhances the unique character of the site and surrounding neighbourhood. The streetscape revitalization project will also aim to enhance the rich arboreal assets of the site by replenishing the lost tree-scape along the park edge.
