Lisa Rapoport spoke last week at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture’s Symposium Future Public Environments. The conference explored the possibilities of next-generation city making, and consisted of illustrated presentations from leading practitioners, visionaries, and theorists from Toronto and Europe. Speakers discussed the form of future city fabrics, social relationships and environmental performance, and the technical craft of large buildings.
