Fifteen years ago, it was a turning point in PLANT’s professional life when The Architectural League of New York selected us as one of their Emerging Voices. Founded in 1982, this annual lecture and awards program spotlights individuals and firms with an innovative design ‘voice’ that has the potential to influence architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design. We now find ourselves in exceptionally good company between the covers of 30 Years of Emerging Voices: Idea, Form, Resonance, published by The Architectural League of New York and Princeton University Press. Each of the 250 firms and individuals selected as Emerging Voices over the last three decades has a body-of-work page in this handsome, hardcover book. They include TEN Arquitectos (Mexico City), Arquitectonica (Miami), and Studio Gang Architects (Chicago). We are delighted to show off PLANT’s page.
